Sinhala Cinema
Sinhala Cinema is a collection of films produced by Sri Lankan. The official beginning of Sinhala Cinema is the film 'Kadawunu Poronduwa' released on January 21, 1947 in 1955, Joe Abeywickrama entered the cinema industry with a comedic role in the film ' Dewasundari '. Sri Lankan Cinema although influenced by South Indian Culture in its early days, later developed a unique national identity.
