Environment

The environment is the world we live in, providing essential elements like air, water, food, and shelter that impact our lives and survival.Protecting the environment is a collective responsibility. Its destruction leads to issues like climate change, air and water pollution, and loss of biodiversity.

We can take steps to protect it:

- Plant trees

- Conserve water

- Save electricity

- Reduce plastic use

- Dispose of waste properly

- Prevent pollution

Biodiversity: The variety and number of different living organisms in the environment is called biodiversity. Environmental pollution: Substances and activities that harm the environment are called environmental pollution. Climate change: Changes in temperature and rainfall patterns in the environment are called climate change. Conservation: Protecting the environment and biodiversity is called conservation. Sustainable development: Economic development that protects the environment is called sustainable development.

  • Ecosystems:

The relationships between living organisms and their environment are called ecosystems.

  • Water cycle:

The movement of water in the environment in a cycle is called the water cycle.

  • Carbon cycle:

The movement of carbon in the environment in a cycle is called the carbon cycle.

  • Consequences of environmental pollution:

Environmental pollution harms the survival of living organisms, human health, and the economy.

  • Importance of environmental protection:

Environmental protection safeguards the survival of living organisms, human health, and economic development.
